The engineers and designers at Creek Bluff Digital Media Services are constantly looking for ways to improve the User Experience for homeowners in communities we support…and boy, do we have a good one for you this time!

In compiling the suggestions we’ve received from homeowners and property managers, we’ve overwhelmingly noticed a recurring theme: the old Neighborhood Directory was difficult to use and needed to be improved. So as our first new plugin for the year, we decided to focus on building a more robust, easier-to-use, and quicker Neighborhood Directory, which provides these…

Search for homeowners
Sort by last name

Unlike the old Neighborhood Directory where all homeowners who opted to show their information to other homeowners was displayed on a single page, the new plugin sorts all homeowners who have opted in by last name, and homeowners can use a “quick link” at the top of the page to rapidly re-sort the directory by the first letter of any last name. The plugin is also smart enough to only offer letters in the alphabet where there are actual last names to match.

Easy-to-view format

The new Neighborhood Directory looks more like cards in an address book now than previously where homeowner information was presented in a row format.

Faster…much faster

The new Neighborhood Directory takes advantage of newer technology, which allows us to build smaller and much more robust features. This newer technology translates as a benefit to homeowners in terms of the speed in which this plugin presents information. In addition, because the directory is being presented in a much smarter way, in terms of how it makes use of sorting, the directory loads significantly faster than the previous.

For property managers or board approved administrators - Remove outdated or duplicate registrations

It happens…homeowners sometimes register twice and in doing so, choose to show their information in the Neighborhood Directory, and so they appear more than once. Or…a homeowner moves from the community and their information remains in the Neighborhood Directory, because the new homeowners haven’t registered on the HOA website yet. In either case, these “rogue” profiles either remained in the directory, or someone had to contact us to remove them. Problem solved! With the proper role assigned to an individual like a property manager or someone on the board, you can now review and remove these registrations yourself, without doing much more than selecting the profile to remove and approving it. Neighborhood Directory updated…registration removed!

Depending on your HOA, we're willing to bet that homeowners have at least one form that is regularly completed and submitted to the Property Management Company. In working with associations, the one thing we've discovered is that completing and sending one or more forms is part of the process when you live in an association. Whether it's a form to seek permission to paint your home, request a pool key, reserve the amenity center, submit a proxy, etc., forms are part of your organization's life-blood. So why not simplify and provide for better tracking.

Introducing a new plugin designed exclusively for use with our HOA websites. Thus new addition to the growing family of features available on our websites, is completely customizable and works with just about any Adobe PDF document that needs to be submitted. Here are a few of the features:

Plugin allows for as many online forms as required by the HOA.
Configure everything about the form, including:
- How the form looks on the page, including all header, sentence, disclaimer, question, and email confirmation verbiage, colors, etc.
- Configure the plugin to use your own PDF, ensuring the right form is routed
- Dynamically add or remove questions on the form
- Define where it will be sent when submitted
- Choose from single-line and multi-line text boxes, as well as drop down lists
- Indicate which questions are required for form submission and which aren't
- Offer option for instant download as well as email
- Submission history is stored for easy reference and retrieval later on
- Electronically sign
- Limit to one submission only
Everything is digital, so no more downloading, printing, signing, and faxing or mailing back a form.
Bonus: Online forms can even be configured to auto-populate the form with registered homeowner information to speed completion.

There may be nothing worse than losing one of your family members because a gate was left open, or didn't return after going out with you to check the mail, but a missing pet ranks near the top for some. Finding a stray pet can cause frustration if there is no name or phone number to call. What then??

Introducing a new plugin designed exclusively for use with HOA websites, this new feature has multiple components, which make up the plugin. The following components are included:

Display List: Lists limited number of lost and found pets
Extended Display List: Lists all lost and found pets that are active
User Entry Form: Allows a user to enter details about the pet an submit it
Administration: Platform components allow administrator to manage submissions

All components and elements of this new plugin are configurable when adding to various pages. This feature can be used publicly or in the secured area for homeowners only.
